Linseed House at the Grounds of Alexandria
Linseed House at the Grounds of Alexandria is a stunning wedding reception option for Sydney Weddings. Once a former linseed oil factory, The Linseed House has been graciously and extraordinarily restored with beautiful art-deco inspired styling and is the perfect wedding venue or wedding reception.
Set inside a piece of Sydneys History, Linseed House features grand 10-meter high ceilings adorned with four exquisite crystal chandeliers, arched windows which flood the space with natural light and intricate parquet flooring and it’s own private bar with mirrored ceilings, as well as a floor space to accommodate up to 600 wedding guests in a cocktail-style setting.
Because of the prime wedding location’s adaptability, no two weddings look or feel the same, it’s truly a magical space to have as part of your wedding day. Bek and Tom married at Crypt of St Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney, we spent the afternoon at Darling Point Park, and ended the night dancing to drums at Linseed House at the Grounds of Alexandria for the wedding reception.
As a wedding photographer based in Newcastle, NSW I love the opportunity to travel and work with brides all over the country!
